David Croft, Bernd Mayländer and Sean Kelly Confirmed for the Schumacher Lounge at Monza
The excitement continues to build for this year’s Schumacher Lounge at the Italian Grand Prix, and we are delighted to announce the first three Formula 1 personalities who will be joining us at Monza.
Following their hugely popular appearances at last year’s sold-out event, David Croft, Bernd Mayländer and Sean Kelly will all return to the Schumacher Lounge for what promises to be another unforgettable Formula 1 weekend.
As we continue to enhance the Schumacher Lounge experience for 2026, securing the return of some of the most respected and recognisable figures in Formula 1 is a significant milestone. Their appearances will give guests exclusive access to stories, insights and perspectives that simply cannot be found anywhere else.
The Voice of Modern Formula 1
Few people are as closely associated with Formula 1 today as David Croft.
Known to millions of fans around the world as the lead commentator for Sky Sports F1, Crofty has become the voice of some of the most dramatic and memorable moments in modern Grand Prix racing. From championship-deciding finales to historic victories and unforgettable on-track battles, he has been there to bring every moment to life.
His passion, energy and deep knowledge of the sport have made him one of Formula 1’s most recognisable personalities, and his appearance at last year’s Schumacher Lounge proved to be one of the highlights of the weekend.
Guests can once again look forward to hearing Crofty’s unique take on the current Formula 1 landscape, behind-the-scenes stories from the paddock and his thoughts on the drivers, teams and moments shaping the sport today.
A Perspective Like No Other
Alongside Crofty, we are equally delighted to welcome back Bernd Mayländer.
While many Formula 1 fans know his face, few appreciate just how extraordinary his career has been.
As Formula 1’s official Safety Car Driver, Bernd has participated in more than 500 Grands Prix, making him one of the most experienced figures in the entire paddock. For decades, he has had a front-row seat to the biggest moments in Formula 1 history, working alongside multiple generations of drivers, teams and world champions.
His unique role gives him an insight into the sport that very few people can offer. From safety procedures and race control decisions to stories from behind the scenes of Formula 1’s most dramatic weekends, Bernd’s experiences provide guests with a fascinating perspective on life inside the world’s most prestigious motorsport championship.
